This tutorial applies to the 2015-2020 model year Audi A3 for installing ambient lights. It is recommended to install and program the main module first, then disconnect the supplied ambient lighting module; reconnect the module only after all components are installed. First install the main module, then install the four-door modules.

V. Function Description
Light control method: In the interior lighting adjustment interface, the smallest setting is off (this is how the factory vehicle is designed). The second setting is gradient color.
From the third position onward, each position corresponds to a different color. The last position is the brightness adjustment mode; when adjusted to the final setting, the brightness changes gradually. When the brightness reaches its minimum, it jumps back to maximum. Once the desired brightness is reached, rotate the cursor to another position to lock the brightness.

VII. Troubleshooting
1. The ambient light cannot be controlled or the ambient light does not turn on. Answer:
1. The main control box DIP switches are not set (refer to the switch definitions on the top cover of the box and reset them). Check if the power adapter is functioning properly. 2. Does the red power wire on the door panel sub-control box have a 12V voltage? It will not operate normally if below 12V;
3. When connecting the black ground wire to a door panel screw, remove the paint from the contact surface to avoid affecting conductivity.
2. The center console and the four doors are not synchronized. Answer: Disconnect the lights coming from the control box, leaving only one set of lights; adjust the ambient light red, green, and blue (to rule out poor contact in the LED light wiring).
3. The door panel ambient light colors are not synchronized. Answer: Leave any one set of door panel ambient lights and adjust the ambient light red, green, and blue (to rule out poor contact in the door panel LED light wiring).
